This Sunday is a special one.

After 20 years of faithful ministry here at Hope Freeburg, Pastor Dale will be preaching his final Sunday sermon with us before he and his family move to Tennessee.

Dale will still be around through June and into July, and we’ll be looking for meaningful ways to honor him and celebrate his ministry in the days ahead. But this Sunday is a special opportunity to come worship together, hear him preach, and show our love and appreciation for the years of leadership, teaching, care, and faithfulness he has poured into this church.

We’re grateful for Pastor Dale, grateful for his family, and grateful for all God has done through them at Hope Freeburg.

What does our faith actually look like?

This Sunday at Hope Freeburg, Josh is continuing through the book of James with a message called Mirror Mirror.

James reminds us that God’s Word doesn’t just give us information. It shows us what’s really going on in us.

And once we see it, the question becomes:

Will we walk away and forget what we saw?

Or will we let God change what He reveals?

Join us this Sunday as we look at James 1:19–27 and talk about what real faith looks like when it shows up in our listening, our words, our obedience, and our care for others.
