It’s that time of year – spring storms are beginning to occur across the Great Plains Conference. The outlook is calling for an active disaster season with large hail, heavy rain, damaging winds, tornadoes, and wildfires. With storms come damaged homes, ranches, and farms. WE NEED YOU to become a part of our ministry of compassion and care! If you would be interested in helping us respond, please let Hollie know ([email protected]).

Part of our response to homeowners, ranchers, and farmers is through our Disaster Response Fund. As we enter the spring season of storms, our balance is low, and it is our desire to continue to spread the compassion and care through grants to survivors of disasters. Please consider making a donation to our fund. You can submit a check, payable to the Great Plains Conference, on the memo line write 975, mail it to 100 S Kansas, Topeka, KS 66603. Autism awareness week at G and W. I got to practice my Jail ministry with one of our favorite deli people Mary who had been thrown in "Jail ." They also have some nice items they are raffling off. We're not real sure Mary's sister wanted her released as she was trying to pay for her bail with Monopoly money! A lot of fun.

At the Ball Game! It tried to rain us out but it has cleared up. Paul and Cheri are here somewhere. I saw them once and now it seems there are 5000 couples with the man in a hat and a dark haired woman next to him. So just pick a couple and pretend.
