"Bringing It Home" is a tool to help us apply the Word in our lives throughout the week. Below are the questions and reflections from Pastor Josh's sermon yesterday. (If you missed the sermon, you can watch it here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1HM6hjPSYd/)

1. Read Acts 17:10-15 and ask God to speak to you by his Spirit through his Word.
2. What does Acts 17:11 mean when it says the people in Berea had “noble character?”
Who do you know who has that kind of character?
3. Are you eager to receive the Word? What are the “hard places” in the soil of your heart where the Word can’t take root? Confess those to God and ask him to soften your heart.
4. Are you eager to learn from other believers? Who is someone you can learn from, even if you don’t know if you agree with everything they say?
5. Are you committed to examining the Word daily? How can you examine the Word in
community with other believers this week?
6. Take a time audit of your attention this week. How many hours per week do you spend examining God’s Word? How many on social media or news or entertainment? What are the primary voices that you are listening to throughout the week?
