No equipment is needed. Students will work from a seated position; no floor work. To attain certification, students must attend all classes, complete required outside work, pass 3 tests with 85% correct and demonstrate technique.

Celebrate Pi Day (3/14) with a Pies & Pixies family fundraiser!

Saturday, March 14, 1-4 PM
at 222 Temple St, Fredonia NY

Join us for a pie baking contest, decorate a cookie, make a fruit wand, craft a crown and wings, build with recyclables in the pixie fortress, and make your way through the pixie obstacle course! In addition, sweet and savory pi- and pixie-themed snacks will be available for purchase, including slices of pie from the baking contest.

All ages are welcome to attend, and all minor children must be accompanied by an adult. Young and old alike, wear your pixie attire for the pixie costume parade!

Cup of Kindness Café

At our Friday night coffeehouse, the Cup of Kindness Café, hosted by Rev. Ron Skowronski, we offer FREE coffee, snacks, and great conversation. All are welcome—a special shout out to university students, LGBTQ+ individuals, and just about anyone who just wants a safe and welcoming place to be themselves. A freewill offering will be accepted, but there is no obligation.

Sing for Unity
A worldwide musical movement for unity, peace and community
Sunday, September 21, 2 PM
at 222 Temple St, Fredonia NY

On the United Nations International Day of Peace 2025, voices from every corner of the planet will sing to send a powerful message: We are one world, one people and we stand together in unity and community.

Members of our congregation and the larger community are invited to the UUCNC meetinghouse to participate in the Sing for Unity project, singing songs of community, peace, unity, and joy with people all over the world who will be singing at 2 PM in their time zones, creating a wave of music around the globe. Every voice matters! Add yours and help grow our global sound wave for hope, unity, global community, peace and equality!

Bring songs to sing and your voices to sing them. We will end by singing together "What a Wonderful World," the same song everyone all over the world will be singing.

There will be time after today's 11 AM worship service and coffee hour to go home to eat lunch, or bring a bag lunch to eat at the meetinghouse before we sing together. Invite friends to sing with us.

Weekly worship resumes Sunday, September 14, 11 AM
at 222 Temple St, Fredonia NY and livestreamed on Zoom

Ingathering and Water Ceremony with Rev. Ron Skowronski

You are invited to listen to the words of Rev. Ron Skowronski in this first service of our new congregational year. We will bless the stones that we use during Joys and Concerns and mingle the waters we collected from our summer hiatus from worship services. Please bring a small vessel of water for the water ceremony.

Following the worship service we will celebrate July, August, and September birthdays and enjoy a potluck lunch. If you are able, please bring a dish to pass. If you bring food, please list the ingredients for anyone with dietary concerns.
