With Jesus on your side, what can anybody or anything do to you? Just believe, and you will walk free of fear or worry, knowing that nothing can touch you. Are you dealing with a fire in your life? Say the below prayer and walk unharmed, unbroken, and untouched, through the flames.

"Lord, thank you for standing with me. Be my strength to help me walk tall through the fire. Be my strength to not waiver in faith with flames all around. You are my strength, what can man do to me? Lord, I love you for being with me. In the name of Jesus, amen."

Jesus wasn't concerned about the storm for he knew he had the power to deal with it. Do you not know that all who believe in Jesus, have this same power? We all deal with storms as we go through life. Let's say this prayer together, so that when the storms do come, the wind and waves that try and destroy us, will stand down and be calm.

"Lord, thank you for sending your only Son Jesus Christ into my life. Stand with me in the midst of any storms that come my way, so they will heed my command and be still. Not even a gentle breeze, but complete calm. In the name of Jesus, amen."

If it seems as if there is nothing but chaos all around, be still and know that the Lord is there. Be still and know that even if all may seem lost, the Lord is there. Be still, and listen for the small voice that says, everything will be okay. If you haven't spent some time being still today, shut off the noise and just be still.

Rather you believe in God or not, this same concept applies. We must all at some point do away with old habits and things, so we can run free towards a greater purpose. Let's say this prayer together, so we may run and not grow weary.

Lord, strengthen my feet, so they may not grow tired. Strengthen my legs, so they may not grow weary. Stand me upright so I may run with perfect form. Breathe into me the breath of life so I am able to run for miles and miles. If I even think about looking back, shout so that my attention will stay focused straight ahead. Shout so that I remember you are the way. Shout so that all the Earth will know your name. In the name of Jesus, amen.

The words spoken, the actions taken, are all food. Are the words you speak, pure and wholesome, or are they killing all those in your path? Are the actions you take, genuine and meaningful, or are they killing all those in your path? Are your words and actions full of love, or are they acting like a poison, killing all those in your path? Let's pray together today that our words be pure, and that our actions be genuine.

"Lord, thank you for giving me breath and giving me motion. Guide my mouth so that I speak only what is pure. Guide my actions so that I only do your will. Guide me so that I may lead no one astray into the darkness. Guide me so I may not be found guilty of killing a soul. Guide me so I may guide others into the light. Guide me so I may hear, well done. In the name of Jesus, amen."

Just as Jesus forgave those responsible for his crucifixion on that cross, we must forgive. Take a moment here and ponder on these three things:

Is there any grudge you are holding onto? Is there anyone you haven't talked to in a while because of what they said or did? Can a person be truly kind, if there is a person they can't be kind to because of past circumstances?

Are you holding on to something from the past? Forgive. Did somebody do you wrong? Forgive. Did somebody hurt your feelings? Forgive. Whatever it may be, forgive and move on. Forgive so the love of Jesus can shine forth, and you can run free.

Are you holding onto anything? Give this person a call, talk it out, and feel the weight of that burden being lifted from your chest.

God is all around. Do you see him? Do you hear him? Do you smell the goodness he is cooking up? Now take that same goodness to your mouth, and take a bite. Do you taste it? Now be still and focus. Do you feel him all around?

God isn't an invisible God as many may believe. Our senses are so deafened by what's going on all around, that God is smothered by all the noise. Find that stillness, and find God. Find God, and find salvation in his only son, Jesus Christ. Now put down the phone, close the laptop, turn off the TV, and take a few minutes to be still.
