Resurrection Lutheran Church

Resurrection Lutheran Church We are a confessional, liturgical congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in the beautiful town of Fredericksburg, Texas.

To keep up with what's going on at Resurrection be sure to check out our website resurrectionfbg.org Our church is named after the most incredible event that has ever taken place, the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. That gift and hope of eternal life is our constant joy in this present life as we await Christ's second coming and the resurrection of our own bodies to eternal life. As a

church we belong to the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We are a traditional, conservative, confessional church that believes that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and we subscribe to the Evangelical Lutheran Confessions as a true exposition of God's Word and our faith. We gather each Sunday around God's Word and the Lord's Supper, the places He promises to us that He will be found. In them we hear what God has to say to us, chiefly that we are forgiven and loved because of Christ Jesus and His death on the cross for us. Born November 11, 1942, she began her new adventure with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ this past Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Her beautiful smile and contagious laughter will be missed here, but we will see her again. Blessings and prayers go with her family. She will be interned in Minnesota next to her husband.
