Jesus was once asked, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” His answer was simple, direct, and life‑changing:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
And love your neighbor as yourself.

These two commandments hold the weight of all Scripture. Jesus tells us that everything — the Law, the Prophets, the way we live, the way we treat people — hangs on these two pillars of love.

When we love God first, our hearts stay anchored in His truth. And when we love our neighbor, we become His hands and feet in a world that desperately needs compassion, patience, and grace. Loving our neighbor isn’t always convenient, but it is always Christlike.

As we step into this week, may we be a church that lives out both commandments boldly — loving God fully and loving people faithfully.

Welcome to the Weekly Word!

Holy Ghost has stepped into this season with strength, unity, and JOY. And just like in Mark 16:19–20, the Lord is working with us. We’re not building this season on our own. He is opening doors, stirring hearts, and placing His hand on everything we do. May we continue to walk boldly, knowing the risen Christ is actively moving in our midst.

The kids from The African Children's Choir will be with us in December! 🎄❄️🎶🇺🇬
They’ll treat us to an all-new concert on December 9 and we’ll treat them to another hill country Christmas! It’ll be our job to make sure they’re well fed during their stay, so be ready to sign up when that list goes live! We can’t wait!

FNL sailed back strong after summer break with plenty of new faces attending for the first time! We played hard, ate snow cones, and heard a message about keeping our compass pointed toward Jesus! 🥳🪎🧭✝️🎶✨
