The Daily Grind ☕️ Stop The Drift
In my experience, the Enemy of our soul preys upon those who lack discipline, are easily distracted, and are unfocused on the mission and calling God has placed on their lives.
I remember this cliché from my childhood: “Idle hands are the devil’s playground.”
An idle life rarely stays neutral. If we don't intentionally fill our minds and days with purpose, growth, and the things of God, something else will gladly fill the space.
Paul reminds us to “continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel.” Another way to say it is, “Stable makes you able.”
Today, take a more intentional approach to everything you do. Stay present, mindful, and focused. Discipline adds substance to your ability to resist temptation and stand firm. - Pastor Jimmy
