Every four years, when Come, Follow Me brings us into the Old Testament, we return to something both ancient and affirming: the act of writing our own psalms.
This is our third Call for Psalms, and we are gathering a chorus of praise, poems to Jesus Christ, written by Latter-day Saint women who are living, wrestling, and rejoicing in the present.
The scriptural psalms hold longing, grief, praise, anger, hope. We believe there is room for all of that here, too.
In a tradition where women’s voices have not always been preserved or centered, this is a small, intentional act of restoration: to write, to name, to praise, to be heard.
We are seeking:
Poems in praise of Jesus Christ—rooted in your lived experience, your language, your relationship with Him.
Guidelines:
Open to Latter-day Saint women
Any poetic style welcome
150 words or fewer
Must be original and written by you
Selected psalms will be published on our website and shared across our platforms, adding to a growing archive of women’s faith.
Deadline: June 15, 2026
Submit via the link in our bio.
We invite you to read the psalms we published in 2018 and 2022, and then to write yourself into that lineage.
