The Embassy Apostle Karen Bettis-Davis and Pastor Dewayne F. Davis WHAT WE BELIEVE

ABOUT GOD

We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(Deut. 6:4; II Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1) We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father, and is truly God and truly man. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death for the sins of the world, was resurrected bodily for our justification, and now reigns in Glory until all things be put under His feet. (I Tim. 3:16)

ABOUT OUR

SAVIOR

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that He lived a sinless life, provided for atonement of our sins by His death on the cross, was resurrected after three days, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. (John3:16, Matthew 1:18-20)

ABOUT SCRIPTURE

We believe in the absolute inspiration of the Holy Scriptures in their original autographs, given by the Holy Spirit without error as He moved upon holy men of old. Furthermore, we believe that the church has no authority to establish doctrine or practices contrary to these same scriptures, which were subsequently accepted as Canon by the early Christian Church. (I Tim. 3:16)

ABOUT MAN

We believe that man was made in the image of God and is the crown of creation. He is now by reason of the “fall” spiritually alienated from his Creator. Apart from God he has no ability to attain to this high calling. (Psalm 8; Ephesians 2:8-9) We believe that justification is by grace through faith in our Lord’s sacrifice on Calvary. (Romans 3:21-24) We believe that all people are to repent and be buried with our Lord Jesus Christ in the water of baptism. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:28; Romans 6:4; II Peter 3:9) We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power given by God to anoint the believer for sanctification and evangelism. It is our understanding that the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are active within the body of Christ until the coming of the Lord. Furthermore, we believe that the development of these gifts ought to be encouraged under the guidance of local church authority. (Acts 8:14-17; Acts 19:1-2; I Cor. 12:4-7) We believe that those who are called by the name of Christ should depart from iniquity, understanding that salvation from the penalty of sin only beings the process of redemption. We acknowledge that one work of the Holy Spirit is to create in us the character of Christ. (II Tim. 2:19)

ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe in the Priesthood of the believer; that is to say, all people born of God have equal status before God and direct access to their Lord. (Pet. 2:5) We believe in the identity of the body of Christ on the earth is primarily perceived through the local church. While encouraging the voluntary association of local churches, and recognizing the need of consensus on matters of fundamental doctrine and conduct, we strongly confess the local church to be sovereign and autonomous. (Rev. 2, 3) We believe that the callings of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are functional within the body of Christ until the Lord’s return. Furthermore, these ministries are gifts to the church for the purpose equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, that the body of Christ may be edified. (Ephesians 4:11-16). ABOUT THE KINGDOM

We believe in the literal Second Coming of our Lord, the literal rule of Christ upon the earth, the resurrection of the regenerate to eternal life and the unregenerated to eternal damnation, and the ultimate victory of the eternal Kingdom of God. (Acts 1:9-11; Daniel 12:2; Revelations 22:1-7). ABOUT HEALING

We believe in Divine Healing that divine provision was made for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of the believer through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for by the redemptive work of Christ and is a privilege to every believer in the Church today. ABOUT DELIVERANCE

We are ministry that emphasizes deliverance and how to live a holy life--a life approved by God--that closes doors to the entry of demons. We believe that deliverance is not only a one-time event. We believe that deliverance is a process requiring a change of lifestyle. When someone receives deliverance but does not change the lifestyle and/or thought-life that gave the "legal rights" for those demons to enter, the demons will re-enter that person. We believe in building a structured life now based upon the freedom one has received through deliverance. (Psalm 18: 17-24, Matthew 10: 7-15, Mark 16:15-17)

APOSTOLIC MOVEMENT

Apostolic Movement:

The worldwide activation of the Holy Spirit released in the Body of Christ resulting in the restoration (re-ordering) of all things. Acts 3:19-21

Restoration of:
1. Relationship - Malachi 4:6; Luke 15:11-32; 1 Corinthians 4:15
2. Biblical Doctrine/Teaching – Hebrews 6:1
3. Five-Fold Ministry- Ephesians 4:11-12
4. Ministry of the Holy Spirit – Luke 3:16; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4
5. Miracles – 1 Corinthians 12:10-11

The Ministry of the Apostle:

Apostle- (Greek-apostolos) “One who is sent forth.” One called and sent by the Anointing to have and operate in spiritual authority. Character, gifts, and abilities enable Apostles to gather and establish people in Kingdom truth and order, especially through founding and overseeing churches and ministries.
1 Corinthians 12:28 “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”
Ephesians 4:11 “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”

Functions of Apostles and Apostolic Ministries:
Establish a Spiritual climate/atmosphere in regions that is conducive for a release of God’s Glory
1 Corinthians 12:28 “First (Greek-proton) apostles.”
Blasting, Trailblazers, Penetrating, Forerunner, Pioneer Anointing. Territorial Spirits – Governing spirits/strongholds over regions, cities, nations. Daniel 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days:” 1 Corinthians 15:32 ‘If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus,”
Strongholds – Mindsets, Doctrines, Ideologies contrary to the Word of God. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “… mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,”

Establish an Apostolic People
Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” NKJV
This is an Apostolic Commission!! Evangelists make believers/converts – Apostles make disciples. Establish Churches
Apostolic People require Apostolic Churches where they will be equipped and released for the work of the ministry through:
• Doctrine- Acts 2:42 “…they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,” Ephesians 2:20 “The foundation of the church is built upon the Apostles, Prophets, and the Revelation of Jesus Christ.”
• Prayer
• Fellowship
• Preaching- Inspiration through exhortation, proclamation and demonstration. Mark 16:15 “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature,”
• Teaching- Inspiration through edification (building up). Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,”
o Treaching - (combination of teaching & preaching)
Matthew 4:23 “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing (demonstration) all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people,”

Establish Biblical Order/Government

Restore five-fold (government) ministry to oversee and maintain the order of God, which is represented through theocracy and not democracy. Theocracy -God controlled, God centered, God ruled. Democracy- People controlled, People centered, People ruled. 1 Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 4:11-16; Titus 1:5
Establish “Fathering Ministries/Relationship”
1 Corinthians 4:15 “For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.”

Fathers and overseers are committed to establishing and developing growing relationship. Some Fatherly Responsibilities:
1. Training and Discipline - Exodus 18:13-26; Hebrews 12:5-10; Colossians 1:28

Christmas Eve. 7 AM. Atlanta. 🕊️

Sitting here this morning with my husband, I am overwhelmed by one word: Grateful.

He is recovering, doing well, and resting in the protection of God—is a miracle. We took this short trip to just breathe and enjoy the peace. But I know that this peace wasn't free. We fought for this territory. The Dominant Power always wins. And this morning, looking out into the morning, I know we are winning.

For a long time, I thought "spiritual warfare" meant shouting at the darkness. But this morning, sitting in this quiet, I’m reminded that true victory is just... rest. It’s a table prepared in the presence of enemies.

I’ve been quiet lately because I’ve been writing. I’ve been pouring our journey, our battles, and our victory into a manuscript.
I’ve been writing a manual on how we got here—how we started building a life so full of God that the enemy had no room to sit.

I can’t wait to share it with you all soon. But for today, we are just going to eat at the table. Merry Christmas, family. Build your peace today.

Some worship money or the size of their system, or the fame of their leader and see it as God’s affirmation of the system. Jesus said, NO ONE can serve two masters. It is an impossibility. We cannot serve Christ and a human system. ONE will reign – you cannot serve two masters.

Today this heavy topic came up in my spirit and I heard this song that Usher has on his new album called “NAKED.” The song is about a man struggling because of the unspeakable things that happened to him in his childhood that are affecting his ability to have the kind of healthy, loving relationship he wants to have but is struggling with his own s*xuality and his desires. He’s trying to explain to the woman that he loves why he’s struggling and what he’s wrestling with. Some of the lyrics say, “ Since I was young, I had this problem With me, tryin' to find my manhood inside a woman's body. I need a certain kinda validation, yeah, for my ego
And s*x would feed that vibration. My appetite became insatiable and that would lead to trouble. Although I'm better now, there's a rage in me that won't settle down
When I was a child, I done seen things I can't talk about.”

Men who have been s*xually molested as children often face a myriad of complex struggles that can have long-lasting and profound effects on their lives as well as the people who love them. While s*xual abuse is a deeply traumatic experience for anyone, male survivors may encounter unique challenges due to societal attitudes and perceptions surrounding masculinity, s*xuality, and victimization.

One of the primary struggles that male survivors of childhood s*xual abuse face is the pervasive stigma and shame that can surround their experiences. Boys are frequently socialized to be tough, silent, and self-reliant, and admitting vulnerability or victimization can be seen as a sign of weakness. This can make it extremely difficult for male survivors to come forward and seek help, leading to feelings of isolation and self-blame.

Additionally, male survivors may grapple with complex emotions related to their abuse, including confusion about their own s*xuality, guilt for not being able to prevent the abuse, and anger towards their abusers. As well as their parents who missed the signs. These feelings can manifest in a variety of ways, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, s*xual addictions, promiscuity, and difficulty forming and maintaining intimate relationships.

Furthermore, male survivors of childhood s*xual abuse may struggle with issues related to trust and intimacy. The betrayal of trust by their abuser can make it challenging for survivors to trust others, leading to difficulties in forming healthy, stable, and loving relationships and seeking support. This can result in feelings of isolation and a reluctance to open up about their experiences, causing more their emotional pain and hindering their recovery process.

Accessing appropriate support and resources can also be a significant struggle for male survivors of childhood s*xual abuse. Due to the lack of awareness and understanding surrounding male victimization, many make excuses , even forcing themselves to believe the lie that it was not abuse, but rather they started having s*x early. They do this to mask the secret pain and shame. There is often little support services geared towards male survivors or may not adequately address the unique needs of male survivors. This can make it challenging for men to find the help they need to heal and recover from their trauma.

Recognizing signs that a man has been molested as a child can be challenging, as individuals may respond to trauma in different ways and may not always exhibit obvious symptoms. However, there are some common signs and behaviors that may indicate that a man has experienced childhood s*xual abuse. It is important to approach these indicators with sensitivity and empathy, and to seek professional help if needed. Some common signs include:

Emotional difficulties: Men who have been molested as children may struggle with a range of emotional difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, anger issues, low self-esteem, and feelings of shame and guilt.

PTSD symptoms: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, such as flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, and avoidance of triggers related to the abuse, may be present in men who have experienced childhood s*xual abuse. They may be hyper s*xual yet they lack the ability to have any meaningful conversations around the subject.

Difficulty forming and maintaining relationships: Men who have been molested as children may have difficulty forming and maintaining healthy relationships, both romantic and platonic, due to trust issues, fear of intimacy, and challenges with emotional connection. They often seek relationships where they are seen as saviors often attempting to save others in the ways that they wish they had been saved. They tend to fear strong, stable women fearing that they are inadequate or unworthy of love because of their trauma. They are sometimes very promiscuous, seeking s*x for validation often from multiple people creating more guilt and shame for their victimization of women.

Sexual difficulties: Childhood s*xual abuse can lead to a range of s*xual difficulties in adulthood, including s*xual dysfunction, intimacy issues, promiscuity, avoidance of s*xual activity, or engaging in risky s*xual behaviors.

Substance abuse: Some men who have experienced childhood s*xual abuse may turn to substances such as drugs or alcohol as a way to cope with their trauma and emotional pain.

Avoidance of certain situations or places: Men who have experienced childhood s*xual abuse may avoid certain situations, places, or people that trigger memories of the abuse, leading to social isolation or withdrawal.

Physical symptoms: Some men who have experienced childhood s*xual abuse may exhibit physical symptoms such as unexplained pain, gastrointestinal issues, headaches, or other stress-related ailments. Bottled up emotions can lead to sickness, disease, and even death.

Despite these struggles, it is important for male survivors of childhood s*xual abuse to know that they are not alone and that help is available. Seeking support from a therapist, counselor, support group, or helpline can be a crucial step towards healing and reclaiming their sense of self-worth and agency. Breaking the silence and challenging societal norms around masculinity and victimization can also help to reduce stigma and empower male survivors to speak out and seek the help they deserve. I applaud Usher for releasing this song talking about the struggles of men who have endured s*xual trauma.

It is important to remember that these signs and behaviors are not definitive proof of childhood s*xual abuse, and a professional evaluation by a therapist, counselor, or mental health provider is necessary to properly assess and address any concerns. If you suspect that a man in your life has experienced childhood s*xual abuse, it is important to offer support, understanding, and encourage them to seek help from qualified professionals.

TO THE MEN THAT STRUGGLE: There is hope and there is help! You can be free! You can overcome and you can thrive. I’ve seen men get free and have beautiful relationships. I’ve seen what therapy can do. I’m praying that men get free. I’m praying that you gain the strength to attack the demons that plague you and be set free!!! I love you!!

DO WE UNDERSTAND REAL MINISTRY MUST INCLUDE SUFFERING?

In 2 Corinthians 6:3-13, the apostle Paul provides a powerful perspective on the nature of true ministry and the role of suffering within it. He emphasizes the idea that authentic ministry involves a willingness to endure hardships, trials, and suffering for the sake of others and for the sake of the gospel. Paul speaks of enduring afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, and hunger as part of the experience of a minister of God. This passage highlights the reality that genuine ministry is not always glamorous or comfortable but often involves significant sacrifice and suffering.

Paul's words remind us that suffering is an integral part of the Christian life and ministry. Through his own example and teachings, Paul shows that suffering can be a means of demonstrating the genuineness of one's faith and ministry. By enduring suffering with patience, perseverance, and reliance on God's strength, ministers can display the power of the gospel and the presence of Christ in their lives. Suffering can also deepen one's compassion, empathy, and understanding for others who are going through similar trials, enabling ministers to comfort and support them with the comfort they themselves have received from God. Ultimately, embracing suffering in ministry can lead to a deeper reliance on God's grace and a greater manifestation of His power and glory in the midst of challenges.

“We don’t put anything in anyone’s way. So no one can find fault with our work for God. Instead, we make it clear that we serve God in every way. We serve him by standing firm in troubles, hard times and suffering. We don’t give up when we are beaten or put in prison. When people stir up trouble in the streets, we continue to serve God. We work hard for him. We go without sleep and food. We remain pure. We understand completely what it means to serve God. We are patient and kind. We serve him in the power of the Holy Spirit. We serve him with true love. We speak the truth. We serve in the power of God. We hold the weapons of godliness in the right hand and in the left. We serve God in times of glory and shame. We serve him whether the news about us is bad or good. We are true to our calling. But people treat us as if we were pretenders. We are known, but people treat us as if we were unknown. We are dying, but we continue to live. We are beaten, but we are not killed. We are sad, but we are always full of joy. We are poor, but we make many people rich. We have nothing, but we own everything.

Believers at Corinth, we have spoken freely to you. We have opened our hearts wide to you. We are not holding back our love from you. But you are holding back your love from us. I speak to you as if you were my children. It is only fair that you open your hearts wide to us also.”

LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT!!!

Focusing on preaching about "haters" (people) rather than teaching about God and His Holy Scriptures can lead to several dangers. While it's natural for people to face criticism, opposition, or negativity from others, emphasizing this aspect over spiritual growth and understanding can have detrimental effects that leaves them aiming at the wrong target. As believers we are called to destroy the works of the devil but are we taught what the works of the devil really are? Here they are:

1. Temptation: The devil tempts people to sin and to disobey God's commands, leading them away from righteousness and into rebellion.

2. Deception: Satan is known as the father of lies and seeks to deceive and confuse people, distorting the truth and leading them astray.

3. Division and discord: The devil seeks to sow seeds of discord, division, and conflict among individuals, communities, and even within the Church, in order to disrupt God's work and cause harm.

4. Oppression and bo***ge: The devil seeks to oppress and enslave people through sin, addictions, fear, and various forms of spiritual bo***ge, keeping them from experiencing the freedom and abundant life that God offers.

5. Accusation and condemnation: Satan accuses and condemns believers, seeking to bring shame, guilt, and a sense of unworthiness, while God offers forgiveness, grace, and redemption through Jesus Christ.

6. Stealing, killing, and destroying: As described in John 10:10, the devil's ultimate aim is to steal, kill, and destroy, while Jesus came to give life in abundance.

7. Hindering the work of God: The devil seeks to hinder and obstruct the work of God in the world, by opposing His purposes, attacking believers, and spreading evil.

Believers are called to resist the works of the devil by:
*putting on the whole armor of God
*standing firm in faith
*and relying on the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome evil.

It is not our responsibility to focus on people. The devil is our enemy. It is our job to SEE the way the enemy moves and destroy him and not each other. Handling our offenses through the flesh only;

1. **Distracts us from spiritual growth**: Constantly talking about "haters" can shift the focus away from personal spiritual development, understanding God's teachings, and nurturing a deeper relationship with Him. This distraction can hinder individuals from growing in their faith and knowledge of the scriptures.

2. **Fosters a victim mentality**: Overemphasizing the concept of "haters" can cultivate a victim mentality among believers. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions, seeking personal growth, and relying on God's guidance, individuals may become preoccupied with perceived enemies and external criticisms.

3. **Promotes division and conflict**: Excessive focus on "haters" can breed a culture of division, conflict, and negativity within religious communities. Emphasizing perceived enemies can create an "us vs. them" mentality, leading to discord, gossip, and judgment among believers.

4. **it’s a Misidentification of the true enemy**: By constantly highlighting human adversaries as the primary source of opposition, individuals may overlook the spiritual battle against evil forces, such as Satan. Failing to recognize the real enemy can leave believers spiritually vulnerable and ill-equipped to combat the temptations and deceptions of the devil.

5. **Neglecting love and forgiveness**: Preaching about "haters" can overshadow essential teachings of love, forgiveness, and compassion found in the scriptures. Instead of responding to negativity with grace and understanding, individuals may be encouraged to retaliate, hold grudges, or harbor resentment towards their perceived adversaries.

While it's essential to acknowledge and address challenges and criticisms in life, focusing excessively on "haters" at the expense of teaching about God and His teachings can lead to spiritual harm. It's crucial for individuals and religious leaders to prioritize spiritual growth, understanding the scriptures, and recognizing the true enemy—Satan—while approaching interpersonal conflicts with wisdom, love, and forgiveness. Now, stop this madness so the Body can MATURE!!!

Finding Hope in the Midst of Grief

As the holiday season approaches, it can be a time of great joy and celebration for many. However, for those who are experiencing grief, whether due to the loss of a loved one, a broken relationship, or any other form of deep sorrow, this time of year can be especially challenging. It's important to recognize that it's okay to grieve, and it's okay to find this season difficult. In the midst of your pain, may you find comfort and hope in the following words.

Scripture: Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

During this holiday season, it's natural to feel the absence of those who are no longer with us. The empty chair at the table, the unopened gifts, and the memories of past celebrations can all intensify the sense of loss. In times like these, it's important to remember that it's okay to grieve. Grief is not a sign of weakness; rather, it is a testament to the depth of our love and the significance of those we have lost.

As you navigate this season, know that you are not alone. The pain you feel is real, but so is the hope that can sustain you. Take comfort in the knowledge that God is near to the brokenhearted. He sees your pain, and He longs to bring you peace and comfort in the midst of your grief. You are not forgotten, and your tears are not unseen.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, during this holiday season, we come to You with heavy hearts. We bring to You our grief, our pain, and our feelings of loss. We ask for Your comfort to surround us, and for Your peace to fill our hearts. Help us to find hope in the midst of our sorrow, and remind us that You are near to the brokenhearted. Give us the strength to face each day with courage, knowing that Your love sustains us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Encouragement:
As you journey through this season of grief, remember that healing takes time. Be gentle with yourself, and allow yourself to feel whatever emotions come to the surface. Reach out to friends and family members who can offer support, and consider seeking out a support group or counselor who can walk alongside you during this difficult time.

While the pain of loss may never fully disappear, in time, it can become more bearable. As you move forward, may you find moments of joy and peace amidst the sorrow, and may you hold onto the hope that one day, all tears will be wiped away, and all pain will be no more.

Revelation 21:4 (NIV)
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

May this promise bring you comfort and hope as you navigate this holiday season.
