I praise God that we are still standing and being a blessing to our community. Now operating in our 17th year... Through tests, trials, ups, and downs, we are still standing, and we thank The Lord Jesus Christ for sustaining us. God is Faithful!

I am so grateful that Perfecting Outreach Missions (POM) continues to do its part to give back to the less fortunate in our community by adopting a teacher and her classroom at Chancellor Elementary School for the 2015/2016 school year. Our first packages of donations were delivered yesterday and we'll continue to make donations to needy students in this class whenever we are notified and even when we aren't because we are led by The Lord. I Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for enabling me to continue doing Your Work through POM. It's what know I've been called to do.

WE’RE STILL STANDING!!!

Greetings…
It's another year The Lord has kept Perfecting Outreach Missions (POM), Inc., still operating as a faith-based, charitable nonprofit 501(c3) organization and for this we are grateful! Founded on August 8, 2006, we serve the local and surrounding communities in the Fredericksburg, Virginia region. POM operates today much like missionary auxiliaries found in many churches but unlike churches that have a steady stream of income from tithes and offerings collected regularly, POM conducts one major fundraising solicitation a year.
Our Vision…

The vision for POM still remains intact today. Whether it’s helping needy single parents with school supplies, bringing food and flowers to the sick and shut-in and the bereaved; or helping a needy family with food from our Crisis Food Cabinet, our desire is to continue being a blessing as our resources allows. One favorite project we do every year is our Thanksgiving Dinner Project. Every year we give to needy individual families with our Thanksgiving Project, but for the last couple of years we've also partnered with staff members at Freedom Middle School in Spotsylvania, Co., Virginia who identified a few students and their families who needed our help also. We were able to do this project and other beautiful things to help others throughout the year because of the donations we received during our fundraising season.

Final Thoughts…

Charity defined is simply love in action! We also know it takes faith along with love to give in today's economy but please know we appreciate whatever amount you choose to give. Also, remember your financial contribution to this organization is tax deductible; so once again, we thank you for your generous support!
