“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2

Each year the Lord continues to demonstrate His love and faithfulness by providing backpacks to thousands of children across the country. Every backpack contains a small notebook, pen and or pencil, and a scripture booklet.

This simple gift plays an important role in the children’s education and serves as a daily reminder that God loves them and cares about every detail of their lives.

On this day, approximately nine hundred people attended the short church service and many prayed to receive Jesus. Afterwards the 650 Miskito Indian children that had gathered together from three villages along the river received their special blessing from the Lord. This year over two thousand children received a new backpack in time for school.

Thank you Lord and thank you to everyone for your prayers and support of the Lord’s work.

“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

Everyday the Good News of Jesus is being shared with hundreds of people in the streets, villages and towns. Our brothers and sisters selflessly give of their time and resources to take the message of God’s love throughout the country. For it is the Father’s will that none should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.(2 Peter 3:9)

Thank you for your prayers for all those who faithfully go forth proclaiming the Gospel, inviting ALL to enter into the Kingdom of God.

“Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Luke 15:10

The Good News of Jesus continues to touch and transform lives everywhere it is preached: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.

What a blessing to see the heartfelt tears of joy as these new believers were baptized. It was a beautiful day with the birds singing and the angels rejoicing around the throne of God, for it is the Father’s heart that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.
(1 Peter 3:8)

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Matthew 6:30a,32b

As the rainy season begins many families living in remote regions of the country struggle to meet some of life’s most basic needs.

Having adequate clothing is one such area but the Lord has opened a door to bless hundreds of families living in our areas of outreach with good, used clothing.

As the mothers sort through the clothing looking for items for their family, often times they will say to one another, “this would be nice for your son or daughter”.

Gratitude is expressed in many ways as is the love and compassion the Lord has for his children.

Thank you for all your prayers!!

“That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.” Philippians 1:26

Once again the sweet fragrance of joy and happiness filled the air as MP pastors and church leaders from the region gathered together for our monthly meeting.

It has been said that absence makes the heart grow fonder but perhaps it is more the abundant rejoicing of the heart to see once again those that we love so dearly.

The Lord blesses with these special moments that give us a small glimpse of what heaven may be like when we are all reunited in the presence of the Lord!!

Blessings, peace and joy from our family to you and yours!

“Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” Psalm 107:8

Many families along the Rio Coco are still struggling to recuperate from last November’s back to back hurricanes, which wiped out crops and other basic food sources.

But through all the adversity, the Lord has been faithful to supply the much needed vitamin-enriched food for the most vulnerable, thousands of Miskito Indian children.

With great joy and excitement the children run to help unload the food for each village’s feeding center. With over 130,000 meals to be served this month, the little smiling faces know that tonight they will not go to bed hungry.

Thank you Lord for your loving kindness. Our thanks to everyone for all your prayers!

A medical/physical therapy (PT) team from Ohio was able to minister in Nicaragua during January 2018. Here is one patient among over 500 that visited Land of Judah during the five days of clinics. This young boy, Luis, is a repeat patient to our clinics. He, unfortunately, has significant physical disabilities which cause him to have painful spasms on a frequent basis. During this last clinic, he was crying in pain as he received medical and PT attention. One of the team members made an effort to comfort him the best she could. At the end of the session, he left smiling; a rare but welcomed sight. We will continue to pray for his medical provisions and healing as his family is challenged with his condition.
