Welcome to Frederick County's vibrant and inclusive Conservative congregation. We invite you to visit us and find your communal and spiritual home!

Since 1917, Beth Sholom has been a place of welcome, worship, education. We welcome all to join our "family" as we focus on inclusiveness, promoting the interests of Judaism in general, the welfare of the people and community understanding. As new members of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, religious services at Beth Sholom are egalitarian, participatory and inclusive within the framework

of Halakha, or Jewish Law. We welcome men, women and children as active participants in our prayer. Join us for Shabbat Services Friday evenings at 7:00pm and Saturday mornings at 9:30am always followed by a kiddush luncheon. Our weekday minyan meets every Thursday morning at 8:00am.

We can’t wait to see you at our 2026 Community Gala on Thursday May 7, where we will pay tribute to our past presidents, and have a beautiful concert by our own Cantor Shulie. The wonderful evening will include a silent auction and plentiful food! A simultaneous youth event will be held upstairs.
