You can ask God for what you want. But He also wants us to wrestle with why we want it. When we wrestle with our multifaceted motiviations of why, we begin to see how some motivations are less than pure. And we can bring those to Him in repentence. The real question is, are we being honest about the why behind the what of our dream?

Thank you to everyone who gave for GC Day! You raised $7,756 for the Great Commission Fund!

We also set three giving goals this year. Hitting the first unlocked a matching gift and an ice cream party for the whole church. The second brought out an authentic Taste of Mongolia. The third put Pastor Brian French and Timmy Coffelt's hair on the line, and our kids got to vote on what happened to it. They chose bald.

While the haircut was fun, the giving was the point. Every dollar supports missionaries carrying the gospel into some of the hardest places in the world to even say the name of Jesus.
