Many : Forgive us, Lord, when we relay on our strength instead
of Your perfect, steadfast leadership.
One : Come, let us lay down our self-reliance and the illusions
of control.
All : Let us worship the Lord our God, the only King who
reigns with unending love, justice, and grace!

Heavenly Father, we ask for open hearts and clear minds.
Forgive us for the times we look to the world for security
