I know some parents have been unable to register today because we had capped off the number of kids at 50. We have since opened it up to more because we do not want any child left out. Please try to register earlier in the future so we can plan accordingly. Hillcrest Baptist Vacation Bible School

Our VBS kickoff is coming up real soon. We still have only 18 kids registered!!! I know food is being purchased this week and I sure hope more kids join us before opening day or we'll have plenty left over. In any case, I want to let everyone know that Group VBS has posted the Rainforest Falls music on all music platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, You Tube etc. Just look up using the theme name. It might help if you want to use the music in your room to have it set up and ready to go. We are going to start decorating later on this week...hopefully that will get kids excited for this years VBS.

Our logs are done thanks to my amazing co-director and her hubby. I'm thrilled with how they came together. I bought all the trimmings from Temu. Great job Becky Lightell and JD!

Finished my quota of ants...20 was plenty enough. Two take-aways: 1.-Thanks to whoever posted the no glue version. It was a lifesaver. 2.-My heart goes out to the brave (crazy) soul who made 200 of these...glued no less!! I give you huge props!

On another note we painted our waterfalls and rocks today finally. And one of our terrific husbands put some finishing touches on our hut. I'm beginning to see things come together. Ours isn't until mid July so it's exciting seeing everyone else's final work being posted. Love them all.

Cool VBS project for anyone looking to swap out a days project

Here is the lava lamp VBS craft we tested with the kids. It was simple to make and we all enjoyed watching it. Just know it does not take very long to make. We got the test tubes with the screw on caps from Amazon. Glueing on the cap would be a good idea! Do you like this craft?
