Please continue praying for the Talley family during this time.

Jeremy Charles Talley, born November 29, 1980, passed away on May 23, 2026. Jeremy was the beloved son of Nelda Jo Ford Talley and Charles Wayne Talley, and a devoted father to Austin Charles Talley.

Jeremy is survived by his brother, Samuel Wayne Talley (Melisa), and his treasured niece, Abigail Renae Talley. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever remember his larger-than-life personality and the laughter he brought wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rose and D.C. Ford, and Mary and Wayne Talley.

Jeremy was a very talented pipeline welder who took great pride in his work and possessed a natural gift for making people laugh. He was known for his quick wit and his ability to bring humor even during difficult times. Though life brought struggles, Jeremy was deeply loved by his family and by all who truly knew him.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 27, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Talley’s Chapel Community Church, 26664 Highway 16, Bogalusa, Louisiana. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 noon.

His memory will live on through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love held tightly by those whose lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund to honor Jeremy’s life.

Today we honor those who gave everything for the freedoms we so easily enjoy every day. 🇺🇸

We remember the sacrifice, the bravery, and the families who carried the weight of that loss.

Praying God’s peace and comfort over every family remembering a loved one today.

💥Conviction Preaching w/ Jeff Ralston

In this episode of The Pulpit Banter, we sit down with Rev. Jeff Ralston to talk about a subject he calls conviction preaching. In a generation where preaching can easily become polished, psychological, or emotionally manufactured, Bro. Ralston reminds us that true Apostolic preaching must lead people to a choice.

We discuss the difference between manipulating people into sorrow and preaching real repentance, the preacher’s responsibility to let conviction do its work, and why the altar should never be reduced to pressure tactics or performance. Conviction preaching does not just make people feel something; it brings them face to face with the question: will you absolutely surrender to Jesus or not?

This is a challenging and timely conversation for preachers, leaders, and anyone who still believes the Word of God has power to reach the heart, stir repentance, and produce lasting change.
