It’s the first night of Youth Camp, and already the Word of God is speaking to us!
I wanted to share what the youth learned during our worship service tonight. We studied Luke 15:1–7 and talked about the important role of a shepherd and how carefully they watch over and count their sheep. When even one sheep goes missing, the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to go and find the one that has strayed.
Just like sheep, we can sometimes wander away from God. The question we were challenged with tonight is: Will we be part of the ninety-nine who stay close to the Shepherd, or will we be the one who strays?
How can we stay focused on the Lord so that He remains our Shepherd and keeps us from wandering away? A great question for all of us to reflect on tonight.
