BIG NEWS: A New Chapter Is Beginning!

As we look back with gratitude for all God has done as Community Baptist Church, we’re filled with excitement for what’s ahead. God is doing something new in Franklin! This fall, He is bringing together a few Johnson County churches to plant a brand-new gospel-centered, Jesus-pursuing church—Crossway Bible Church.

This isn’t just a name change—it’s a fresh start and a united step forward to reach our city with the good news of Jesus. We can’t wait to share the journey with you, and we want YOU to pray about being part of this new story from the beginning!

Hey everyone! This Sunday will be a little different. We will have our service at Open Door Fellowship at 11:30 AM. The high school choir from Burge Terrace Home Educators will be there and will be singing several songs and then I’ll preach a short message. I’ll let you decide which one or more of those things makes Sunday different. 😉

This Sunday, we’re lifting up songs that remind us who our God is and what He’s done. He’s given us Victory in Jesus, so we don’t fight for victory—we live from it. We Trust in God because He’s faithful through every season. Jesus is Holy Forever, set apart and worthy of all our praise. And He is the Great I Am, the eternal, unchanging God who still moves today. Come ready to worship!
