The first Wednesday Summer Supper was a success! The potluck table included French onion meatballs, fried chicken, lasagna, and plenty of desserts. We had a multi-generational group, great discussion, and lots of fellowship as began our discussion on the Sermon on the Mount.

The teens enjoyed some bonding time, and since no little ones were in attendance this week, Cara Nash was promoted to the adult table for the evening. (Don't worry—she'll continue to be available for childcare each week if needed!)

We hope more of you can join us next Wednesday. Come for the food, stay for the fellowship, and join us as we continue exploring the Sermon on the Mount together.

We need a couple of helpers each week in order to continue our potluck. Cara Nash has agreed to continue helping with childcare, and we need one additional adult (18+) who has been background checked to assist. We also need one volunteer to make sure the church is unlocked and locked and lead Bible....

Did you know ... that Church of the Resurrection in Franklin has a Wednesday night potluck and Bible study? Wednesday nights are big at Resurrection, and their potluck dinner at 6:00pm is the perfect way to connect between Sundays. Bring whatever you can (or just bring yourself) — it always works out, and they love to have new folks at any time. At 6:30pm, they break for adult Bible study, youth group, and children’s activities. Call the church at 615-377-9144 for more information and the summer schedule.

Bishop Bauerschmidt makes his final visit to Church of the Resurrection this Sunday, May 3.
