Running To Win
Hebrews 12: 1-15
Acts 20: 20-24
There is no greater duty than to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ!
If we want to stay in the race we are going to have to keep looking unto Jesus!
What will help us when we look unto Jesus?
1.) We learn to endure rejection
When you start standing for Jesus there will be times of rejection.
Rejection hurts, doesn't matter who you are, it hurts.
It is through our faith in Jesus that we will learn to not to be discouraged.
2.) We learn to endure chastising from the Lord
There will be times that God will correct us and discipline us.
We are His children and He loves us.
It is only through Him that we are given righteousness and it is only through Him that we can have peace.
3.) We learn to endure burdens
In our burdens we find our strength and encouragement in Jesus.
We learn that the burdens we face helps us to enjoy and appreciate our blessings.
Our race is against time, God doesn't pause time for our calling, it keeps moving forward!
So, keep looking to the author and the finisher and stay in the race!
