Last night, our student-created and student-led organization, 412Youth, held an incredibly successful Meal Bag Night!

Students organized and distributed meal bags, toiletry kits, and art supplies for children and families in need throughout our community. A special thank you to Raleigh, Alden and Odin for helping hand out supplies and serve throughout the evening.

The response was overwhelming and we completely ran out of supplies! While exciting, it also showed just how great the need is in our area.

Thank you to everyone who donated food, hygiene items, art supplies, money, and time to support this mission. Your generosity helped students make a real impact.

One of the best moments of the night came when two kids walking by stopped and asked if they could help.That spirit of service is exactly what 412Youth is about.

We encourage parents to get their kids involved. Service opportunities like this help students build compassion, leadership skills, and valuable volunteer experience for resumes, college applications, and future jobs.

Because of the success of this outreach, we will be hosting another Meal Bag Night next month. We will need even more donations to continue meeting the growing need in our community.

What an awesome idea from our 412Youth Service Group!

Our youth put together bags of canned goods to create meal kits that families can take home and easily prepare. It required very little work from volunteers, and nearly all of the food was donated. An amazing example of what can happen when people come together to help others.

Because of their efforts, over 25 meal kits and toiletries bags were distributed last night in Bellevue.

One woman shared that the meal kit was the answer to her prayer because she had nothing to make for dinner that night.

Another family took a bag to give to their elderly neighbor whose grocery delivery hadn’t arrived. We saved them a trip to the store.

You are making a real difference.
Great job, 412Youth.
