What if being alone isn't the same as being lonely?

In this message from 1 Corinthians 7, Zach Ford reminds us of a powerful truth: if you are in Christ, you are never truly alone.

The world often tells us that our value, fulfillment, or purpose is found in a relationship. But Paul teaches something different. Our identity is not rooted in our marital status. It is rooted in our relationship with Jesus.

When we live in the truth that Christ is with us, our perspective changes. We begin to see that our worth comes from belonging to Him, not from meeting the expectations of the world.

No matter your season of life, you are loved, valued, and complete in Christ.

"Not my will, but Yours be done."

In one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, Jesus chose trust over comfort and submission over control. Even in the garden, facing the cross, He surrendered His will to the Father.

In this message from 1 Corinthians 7, Zach Ford reminds us that faithfulness is not determined by having ideal circumstances. Whether our situation is what we expected or not, our calling is to trust God's wisdom above our own desires and understanding.

True peace is not found in changing every circumstance. True peace is found in being close to God and walking faithfully with Him.

When Christ is at the center of our lives, we can trust Him even when the path ahead is uncertain.

What if your value isn't found in your circumstances, but in your devotion to God?

In this message from 1 Corinthians 7, Zach Ford reminds us that every season of life can be lived faithfully before the Lord. Whether you're single, married, struggling, thriving, waiting, or wondering what's next, God's call remains the same: trust Him and serve Him faithfully.

Too often, we think a change in circumstances will bring the peace we're looking for. But true peace is found in Christ. His presence, His wisdom, and His promises sustain us no matter what season we're in.

Trusting God's wisdom means walking faithfully before you know the outcome. And when your identity is rooted in Christ, every season becomes an opportunity to honor Him.

Lesson 2, "A Counting of Israel," plunges into the dramatic account of David’s late-reign crisis recorded in 1 Chronicles 21 (and paralleled in 2 Samuel 24). Moved by Satanic adversarial influence and a lapse into self-reliance, David commands a military census of the nation, directly defying God's sovereignty and ignoring the wise warnings of his general, Joab (vv. 1-4). As conviction pierces the king's heart, God offers David a sobering choice among three divine judgments: three years of famine, three months of military defeat, or three days of a devastating plague (vv. 9-12). Choosing to fall into the merciful hands of God rather than the cruel hands of men, David watches in grief as a pestilence sweeps the land, ultimately halting only when he builds an altar of repentance on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite—the sacred site destined to become the foundation for Solomon’s Temple (vv. 14-28).

Where are you looking for rest?

In this powerful Summer Series message, guest speaker Brent Moody reminds us that so many of the things we pursue in life promise peace, fulfillment, and rest, yet leave us carrying heavier burdens than before.

Jesus offers something different. He invites us to come to Him, take on His yoke, and find true rest for our souls. The burdens of this world can leave us weary and empty, but Christ offers healing, hope, and peace that endure.

If you've been carrying the weight of the world, perhaps it's time to lay it down and trust the One who can truly give you rest.

Do we allow God's Word to transform us, or do we use it to justify ourselves?

In this powerful message from Franklin church of Christ's Summer Series, guest speaker Brent Moody challenges us to examine our hearts honestly.

Spiritual people allow God's truth to change them. They submit to His will, grow through His Word, and seek transformation. But when we begin looking for excuses instead of growth, we risk missing the very purpose of God's instruction.

Following Christ ultimately comes down to the condition of our hearts and the choices we make each day.

Are we being transformed by God's truth or simply trying to justify where we already stand?
