Just a reminder that we will be having Charge Conference after service this Sunday 11/17/2024. We'll have lunch immediately after service (many thanks to Tammy Chaney and Karen for taking that on). Please consider bringing a dessert to share.

We'll have the Charge Conference to review our year after lunch. We'll have everything done by 1:30pm at the latest, as Pastor Doug has to do Hope's Charge Conference at 3:00pm. :-)

Together, Red Lion, Summit, & Hope United Methodist Churches are offering a four-week Advent program called, "Journey to Bethlehem, Follow the Star". Join us as we experience the Christmas story through the eyes of Joseph, the Magi, the Shepherds, and Jesus.

Program Dates: 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, and 12/22
Time: 2pm - 415pm

(While attending all four dates is not required, they do build upon each other.)

Open to all children pre-school through grade 6. We have a limit of 50 children (1 parent must accompany them) and will offer a nursery option for babies 6 mos - 3 years of age.

We had an amazing night providing
dinner for and playing Uno with our friends at Family Promise of Warren County. I can’t share pics of the families, but I can tell you this card has changed the game of Uno forever!!

On 10/6 and 10/13 we will be doing a special offering for a United Methodist Church in North Carolina that has been destroyed by flooding after Hurricane Helene. What is raised by the congregation will be matched, up to $1k, by a local Hope UMC member! Please consider how you can help this church recover! ❤️
