Today, we were blessed to complete our first First Love, First Sabbath 24-hour fast—a new monthly time of prayer, fasting, worship, and fellowship that will take place on the first Sabbath of each month.

From Friday at noon through Sabbath at noon, we intentionally set aside time to seek God with our whole hearts. As Scripture reminds us:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…” — Matthew 6:33

We broke our fast together with a joyful fellowship meal, grateful for the unity, encouragement, and spiritual renewal God has brought to our church family.

As we begin September’s theme, Renewed Hearts, Renewed Mission, may the Lord continue to create in us clean hearts, renew a right spirit within us, and send us forward with purpose to share His love.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” — Psalm 51:10.

We are excited for what God will do as we put our First Love first—on the first Sabbath of every month. ❤️

We’re continuing to invest in a welcoming, comfortable space for our church family and guests.

Recent improvements at Franklin Seventh-day Adventist Church include two new 85-inch TV monitors mounted on extension-arm brackets, a refreshed stage backdrop—with additional updates coming soon—an updated welcome area, and new flooring throughout key spaces.

We believe every improvement helps create a place where people feel seen, valued, and at home. Come visit us and experience the warmth of the Franklin SDA family!

Happy Sabbath. John 6:35 reminds us that Jesus is the Bread of Life. The world cannot truly satisfy our hearts, but Jesus gives us peace, hope, and eternal life. Let us seek Him daily, because He alone can satisfy our souls. 🙏
