Meet Gayle Webb
Gayle and her husband Ed have been faithful members of FWC for quite a few years. Gayle loves to help wherever she can and she truly has a servant’s heart. Her smile can brighten any room. Gayle works as a School Bus Aide and enjoys sharing God’s love with her passengers.

Meet Lindsey Whitson

Lindsey and her husband Nate, along with their 3 beautiful children, have been faithful members of FWC for many years. Lindsey is a nurse and works as a School Nurse.

Lindsey has an amazing testimony and loves nothing more than being a momma and raising her family to know and love Jesus.

Servant Spotlight: Josh Barnett

Meet Josh Barnett!

Josh and his family have been a vital part of FWC for many years. Josh is a loving husband to Jamie and a proud “Girl Dad” to Gemma. He enjoys using his talents for Christ by keeping the beat for our Praise Band and working behind the scenes to help keep the sound running smoothly.

Josh has been with Spectrum for more than 15 years, where he serves as a Senior Customer Experience Specialist.

Special Notes of Interest:
One of Josh’s favorite pastimes is “all things sports!” He knows an insane amount of player and team stats—and if there’s a sports statistic to know, Josh probably knows it!

Meet Starr Johnson!

Starr and her husband, Malcolm, have been a vital part of the FWC family for many years. She has faithfully served Franklin City Schools for more than 20 years and currently works as the Secretary at Gerke Elementary School.

Starr is an incredible singer who loves using her God-given talent to lead others in worship. She has a compassionate heart, deeply cares for people, and is always willing to encourage those around her.

Special Notes of Interest:
Starr’s favorite thing to do is cook for others, and she loves showing her care through a homemade meal. In her spare time, she especially enjoys spoiling her grandchildren and making lasting memories with them.

Servant Spotlight

Meet Ashley Layman!

Ashley and her husband, Pete, have been part of the FWC family for several years. Together they have a beautiful blended family with six children and one grandson.

Ashley has a true servant’s heart. She is often one of the first people to ask, “How can I help?” Whether she’s serving on the Worship Team, helping at The Gospel Grind Coffee Shop, or jumping in wherever there’s a need, Ashley is always willing to lend a hand.

Outside of church, Ashley works as an Aide for Franklin City Schools. She also has a serious love for iced coffee!

Special Notes of Interest: Ashley’s favorite things to do are cheering on her kids at their sporting events and spending time fishing with her family.

🌟 Servant Spotlight 🌟

Meet Dan Botkin

Dan and his wife, Micki, have been faithful members of FWC for more than 10 years. Professionally, Dan serves as the IT Manager at Voelker, but at church he’s known as someone who faithfully serves behind the scenes, helping wherever he’s needed.

One of Dan’s greatest passions is facilitating a recovery program, walking alongside those who are overcoming addiction and offering hope, encouragement, and support.

Special Notes of Interest:
Dan’s favorite way to spend his free time is with his family, especially his granddaughters. He also enjoys playing video games—particularly when he gets to team up with his granddaughter, Analeise!

🌟 SERVANT SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Meet Lily McLaughlin!

Lily is one of our amazing college students and a faithful servant at FWC. She and her parents, Rob and Sarah, have been part of the FWC family for several years. Lily is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Psychology at Miami University Regionals.

Whether she’s serving on the Arrow Youth Board, helping lead Vacation Bible School, or serving on the Media Team, Lily is always willing to step up and serve with excellence.

Special Note of Interest: Lily is a complete rule follower! She’s affectionately known as the “mom” (or “Mammaw”) of her friend group because she’s always making sure everyone is okay, looking out for others, and keeping everyone on the right track.
