B'nai Shalom of Sussex County had an amazing year with our Hebrew School students, and we are already looking forward to the next one!

This year, our students enjoyed hands-on activities and meaningful learning experiences, including cookie decorating, mitzvah days, a menorah-building competition made from snacks and candy, a hamantaschen competition, and creating their own mezuzahs to take home.

Our dedicated volunteer teachers work hard every Sunday to make learning fun while helping students connect with Jewish traditions, values, and community.

We are excited to welcome new students and families for another wonderful year of learning, friendship, and community. Contact us to learn more about our Hebrew School!

Have you seen our new kitchen?

A few weeks ago, we completed renovations and were excited to celebrate with a Shabbat dinner and service. It was wonderful to gather with so many of our members and to have our B'nai Mitzvah students help lead us in prayer.

We are grateful for everyone who helped make this project possible and look forward to all the memories that will be made here—from holiday celebrations and community dinners to plenty of latkes for years to come!

We are so proud of our Hebrew School students as they complete another wonderful year of learning!

To celebrate the end of the school year, our students and families enjoyed a fun strawberry-picking outing! It was a sweet way to wrap up a fantastic year and welcome summer.

We wish all of our students and families a happy and fun summer and look forward to next year! 🍓☀️

As we celebrate the resilience of the Jewish people this Hanukkah season, our hearts are also heavy as we mourn the lives lost this weekend at Bhondi Beach.

Hanukkah reminds us that light can overcome darkness, symbolizing our enduring fight for religious freedom and our ability to persevere in the face of hatred.

This season reminds us that in times of darkness we are called to bring light and compassion into the world. We stand together with the victims and their families.

May their memories be a blessing and may you find light this season.
