The Solemnity of Corpus Christi invites us to pause and marvel at the profound mystery of Christ’s Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. This is not merely a symbol or a remembrance, but Jesus Christ Himself—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—given to us as the Bread of Life. In a world of noise, distraction, and division, the Eucharist remains the source of unity, peace, and divine intimacy.

On this feast, we remember that God’s love is not distant or abstract. It is tangible. It is sacrificial. It is given to us daily on the altar and placed into our very hands. May our hearts be renewed with reverence and gratitude, and may we never take for granted this gift that sustains the Church and sanctifies the world.

“O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.”

A Friendly Reminder!

Tomorrow, we will celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. There will be processions of the Blessed Sacrament in honor of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is truly substantially present in that tiny white host - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. If such procession passes right in front of you, take a courageous act of faith and submission, KNEEL.

You are all invited to join us in celebrating the Feast of Corpus Christi with a special Eucharistic procession through the town of Franklin. This sacred event will take place immediately following the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, June 2.

As we come together to honor the Body and Blood of Christ, we will process through the streets, bringing the presence of Jesus into our community. Let us unite in prayer and song, witnessing our faith to all who see us.

After the procession, we will gather for refreshment.

Jesus does not abandon those who hope in him; therefore, let us humbly ask him:
Our Lord and our God, hear us.

Christ our light, brighten your Church with your splendor,
— so that it may be for the nations the great sacrament of your love.
Our Lord and our God, hear us.

Watch over the priests and ministers of your Church,
— so that after they have preached to others, they themselves may remain faithful in your service.
Our Lord and our God, hear us.

Through your blood you gave peace to the world,
— turn away the sin of strife, the scourge of war.
Our Lord and our God, hear us.

O Lord, help married couples with an abundance of your grace,
— so that they may better symbolize the mystery of your Church.
Our Lord and our God, hear us.

In your mercy forgive the sins of all the dead,
— that they may live with your saints.
Our Lord and our God, hear us.
