What a Blessed Sunday Evening at Haven – February 15th

What a truly blessed Sunday evening it was to once again have the opportunity to preach at Haven at Concordia University in Mequon. My heart is full of gratitude to God for allowing me to share His Word with such an incredible community of young leaders and students.

There is something powerful about campus ministry — lives being shaped, faith being strengthened, and hearts being drawn closer to Christ during such an important season of life. I thank God for the vision and dedication behind Haven, and for the campus ministry coordinator whose leadership and commitment continue to make a lasting impact.

To the students who attended the service — thank you for your hunger for God and your openness to His presence. Your passion and engagement were truly encouraging.

The worship was beautiful and Spirit-filled. The worship band led us with excellence and sincerity, creating an atmosphere where God’s presence was tangible. The songs ministered deeply and prepared our hearts to receive the Word.

It is always a great joy and honor to be part of what God is doing through this powerful ministry. Haven is not just a gathering — it is a movement of faith, hope, and transformation on campus.

Let us continue to pray for revival among our young people, for boldness in their faith, and for God to use Haven as a light that shines brightly throughout Concordia University and beyond.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for what You are doing at Haven. Bless the campus ministry, the leaders, and every student connected to it. May Your Word take deep root in their hearts. Raise up strong, faithful, and courageous leaders for this generation. Let Your Spirit continue to move powerfully on campus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We are grateful for the opportunity to host the 2026 No Regret Men’s Conference Live Stream at the Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center. It was a powerful and encouraging time of reflection, hope, and growth for the men who attended.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated program staff for their hard work in ensuring that residents who signed up were able to participate. Your commitment truly made a difference. We also extend sincere thanks to the SOTH Pewaukee volunteers who joined us—your presence, encouragement, and prayers meant so much to the residents.

Moments like these remind us that transformation is possible and that no one walks alone.

Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent Anthony Dodd Sr. on his retirement and exciting new role as Superintendent of Marshall Correctional. His leadership opened doors for impactful programs and faith-based initiatives that changed lives. Wishing him continued success in this next chapter and new adventure!

✨ Light Broken Into the Darkness – December 5, 2025 ✨

What a meaningful morning at the Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center as we gathered with our female residents to worship, pray, and stand together in the hope we have through Grace Alone, Scripture Alone, and Faith Alone.

God’s Word brought comfort and clarity, reminding us that His light reaches every place and every heart. Through His grace, we find new beginnings; through His Word, we find truth; and through faith in Christ, we find strength for every step ahead.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

✨ Light in the Darkness – CRC Morning of Hope (Nov. 29, 2025) ✨

To God be the glory for the beautiful, Spirit-filled morning we shared at the Light in the Darkness event with Josh Atkinson at the Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center.

What a blessing to spend time with our brothers at CRC—sharing the Gospel, praying together, and witnessing the hope that only Christ can give. Truly, the Lord showed up and showed out.

A heartfelt thank-you to Shepherd of the Hills and Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church for serving together in unity. We also give special thanks to the CRC officers and staff for their outstanding support in helping the event run smoothly.

We remain grateful to the South Wisconsin District and our President Rev. Dr. Meador for their continued support of our ministry presence at CRC.

May Christ’s light continue to shine in every heart.

Free at Last Prison Ministry – Thanksgiving Blessing

Thanksgiving is joyful, yet many families still face grief, hardship, and loneliness. Like the woman in Mark 7, we’re reminded that true gratitude is found in trusting the Savior who meets us with mercy.

On Nov 22, families of brothers and sisters housed at the Milwaukee County CRC received Thanksgiving turkey baskets at Mission of Christ Lutheran Church. Thanks to the generosity of Brookfield Lutheran Church (BLC) and Shepherd of the Hills (SOTH), families were blessed with turkeys, chickens, and potatoes for the holiday.

Free at Last Prison Ministry is grateful for these gifts and honored to share Christ’s love. This was more than a meal—it was a reminder that God has not forgotten His people.

What a great evening!
Blessed to join the Men’s Event at Brookfield Lutheran Church (BLC) with Dr. Scott Keith from 1517, teaching on Biblical Manhood: Discovering God and His Grace.

A powerful reminder of the vital role of strong, godly men in the church and our families. Grateful for the fellowship and encouragement among brothers in Christ! 🙌

GOD IS GOOD — ALL THE TIME

Today, I’m grateful for what God is doing through the South Wisconsin District Chaplaincy at the Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center. We share the Law and Gospel with our brothers and sisters in Christ, offering hope and healing through Jesus.

We also reach out to the correctional officers who serve faithfully each day. Today, we joined in prayer for new officers from Milwaukee, Kenosha, Jefferson, Ozaukee, St. Croix, and Waukesha Counties.

Special thanks to our SWD President, Dr. Meador, for his continued support and encouragement for this vital ministry.

We pray that the Lord will guide, protect, and encourage these officers in their service, and fill their hearts with His peace and hope through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Please keep these officers and our chaplaincy work in your prayers.

Day 2 of the Global Leadership Summit at CRC was a Spirit-filled success! Brothers and sisters in Christ joyfully received their Certificates of Completion, celebrating growth and commitment.

Grateful for the faithful support of Rev. Dr. Nathan Meador, President, South Wisconsin District (LCMS), Assistant Superintendent Anthony Dodd Sr, Captain Hutchins, the program staff, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for blessing us with homemade pizza 🍕, and most of all — for the powerful move of God’s love across all three locations.
