It’s going to be a great day!

Sunday was special. It was significant. It was ordained by God.

Pastor Matt spoke on ‘Redigging the Wells’, specifically the wells of prayer. May 17th was also declared a day of national prayer with the ‘Rededicate 250’ initiative.

Pastor Matt referred to Isaac re-digging the wells of his father in Genesis 26. He then took us to 2 Chronicles 7:14 and a model of how to re-dig the wells of prayer. Representatives of multiple generations were given shovels to illustrate the renewed commitment of digging the wells.

At the conclusion of service Pastor Matt was presented a prayer blanket. A member had been inspired to make the blanket for Pastor Matt. She also extended the opportunity for members of small groups and the congregation to pray over individual pieces of yarn. Each of these pieces were then sewn into the blanket as hearts.

This was a surprise gift to Pastor Matt. Only God could have orchestrated the timing to confirm His Word and His heart for His people to re-dig the wells.
