There will not be any worship services Sunday, January 30th because of the ice and snow. The parking lot today was covered with snow and solid ice. The temperatures aren't going to be warm enough to melt it. Thank you.

The elders have decided that we WILL NOT have any Sunday services on January 16, 2022 because of all of the predicted snow for Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Stay safe and stay warm over the weekend. We will have our Wednesday night Bible Study on January 19th at 6:00 p.m.

Due to Covid 19 - we will not have Sunday morning Bible study, toddler bible hour, Sunday evening Bible study, or Wednesday evening Bible study at this time. WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY SUNDAY AM WORSHIP SERVICES THIS COMING SUNDAY, AUGUST 22. WE WILL RESUME OUR 10:30 A.M. WORSHIP SERVICES ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 29TH. We will also go back to the sitting every other pew, the individual communion cups with bread and the men wearing gloves to pass out the communion. Thank you for understanding the elders doing their best to keep our church family safe.

Our plumbing problem has been fixed. We will be having our Sunday services as usual.

WE WILL NOT HAVE MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY TONIGHT DUE TO THE WATER BEING TURNED OFF WHILE A HUGE LEAK IS DETECTED. We will have our Birthdays and Anniversaries next Wednesday after Bible Study.

UPDATE ON SALLY PENLAND - Sally got to come home this evening. She was able to stand and walk this morning. They released her and told her that she can do the physical therapy at home instead of staying at the Rehab place in Asheville. She is very tired and is to get rest. Radford and Sally want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts for them at this time.

Please keep SALLY PENLAND in your prayers. She tripped over the dog, hit her head real hard on the deck, it knocked her out, hurt her back, she is throwing up. The boys took her to the emergency room. They are sending her to Mission Memorial in Asheville where a neurologist can check her out. She was told by the doctors last week to take it easy and not make any sudden moves because of her spleen, liver, pancreas, and her hernia wrapped around her intestines. They are trying to get tests done to clear her for surgery. Hope this fall hasn't caused any problems with all of what is already going on in her body. Please keep Radford and family in your prayers.
