VBS!!! We are inviting the community of Franklin to join us for VBS. June 12 & 13th from 6:00-8:30pm and wrapping up on June 14th at 10am.

Join us for three exciting days of games, music, crafts, snacks, and powerful Bible stories. Every kid will grow in faith and have a blast doing it.

Life and Peace

The world is constantly competing for control of our minds. Fear tells us to worry. Circumstances tell us to give up. The enemy whispers lies about our future. But Romans 8:6 reminds us that when our minds are governed by the Holy Spirit, the result is not confusion or chaos—it is life and peace.

Like the mist in this forest, there are seasons when we can’t clearly see what lies ahead. Yet God’s Spirit doesn’t require us to see the whole path; He simply calls us to trust the One who does. When we surrender our thoughts, fears, and plans to Him, He replaces anxiety with peace, uncertainty with hope, and striving with His presence.

Today, choose to set your mind on the things of God. Spend time in His Word. Listen for His voice. Let the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you and is able to fill your heart with a peace that transcends every circumstance.

“If our minds are ruled by the Spirit, we will have life and peace.” — Romans 8:6
