Gateway Franklin Royal Rangers Outpost #11

Hi Everyone,

We will not be having Royal Rangers tonight. I held out as long as I could, but I am not confident it is safe for us to be out after dark with the ice and snow hanging on.

We will reschedule our hotdog and Dutch Oven Cobblers (with ice cream) for next week. All age groups will do their normal class (Bible Study, Activity, Prayer); but, will all convene around the food towards the end of the meeting.

A quick reminder, we will hold our spring Council of Achievement tonight (a makeup for last week's cancellation due to weather). Be sure to be there a few minutes early and make sure your ranger wears their uniform! See you in a few hours!

I regret that we must postpone our council of achievement tonight. I have waited as long as I could to get the most up-to-date weather information and have decided to err on the side of caution for tonight. Please stay home and take care of your families during this anticipated severe weather. If you didn't know, the National weather alert system is down for maintenance, so you may not get your regular alerts that you may be accustomed to. We will do our awards ceremony next week MAY 27th @ 6pm at Gateway Franklin Church.

I hope everyone is ready for Summer! As announced at our weekly meetings, I want to remind everyone that tomorrow night, at our normal 6pm meeting time, we will be holding our spring awards ceremony to honor the hard work of our boys this year. A couple things to remember:

1) Wear your uniform
2) Bring any trophies, awards, etc. that you've received through Royal Rangers so we can display them
3) Invite your family. Everyone is welcome. We want this to be a time where the boys feel celebrated and loved by all.

This is a reminder that there is no Royal Rangers this week due to Williamson County's Spring Break. Enjoy time with your families and we will see you back NEXT WEEK.

Hi Everyone,

I have heard from some concerned parents that some of the roads may still be a bit icy around the county. We typically follow the Williamson County Schools leading for cancellations; so tonight, we are cancelling Royal Rangers in an abundance of caution, especially as nightfall will bring even colder temperatures and could increase the chance of icy conditions.

We will see everyone next Tuesday night!

As you may remember, we were planning to serve at "Buy a Tree, Change a Life" tonight (at Gateway) in lieu of our regularly scheduled meeting. However (good news), the Christmas Trees are SOLD OUT, so we will be doing our normal meeting! No need to bundle up for a couple hours in the cold - though, the boys do like to play outside at the end of our meetings.
