St. John Lutheran Church will have a special service this Sunday, January 4 at 10:00a.m. as Jacob Tolliver will be performing Gospel Piano. Jacob is from West Portsmouth. He is a nationally recognized musician and relative of the Apel family. Everyone is invited.

Due to the snow, ice, and extreme cold predicted for this week-end, we will not be having church services Sunday, December 14. The Christmas dinner, caroling, blessing of the blankets, and other activities scheduled for this Sunday will be postponed until the next Sunday (the 21st). Also, Vicki wants you to know you can still order poinsettias by calling , texting, or e-mailing her. Everyone stay safe and enjoy some quiet Christmas preparation.
