Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt of Loyola University Chicago has died at 106 years old, the school announced.

She was a Catholic nun, campus minister and official chaplain of the Ramblers men's basketball team.

REMINDER: Friends in the Frankfort area, St. Vincent Depaul Society of St. Anthony Parish in Frankfort, IL will be at the Jewel-Osco this weekend (4/1 - 4/2) from 9 - 2 p.m. on Sat and 8 - 1 p.m. on Sunday, to raise fund for Easter Dinner for the families we serve. Sunday, February 12, 2023 is our Food Pantry Sunday where we distribute to families previously signed up with us who are in in need. You can help us by dropping off non-perishable foods and bagged fruits and vegetables at St. Anthony Parish in Frankfort, IL on Saturday between 3:30-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. until Noon. We are in need of personal needs and cleaning products along with food items. We get request for gluten free items too. Thank you for helping us help others.
