Awana kids club starts Sept 8 and meets Tuesdays from 6:30- 8pm for children in kindergarten - 5th grade.

This engaging club is a tool to help children to deepen their knowledge and understanding of God’s word through Scripture memory and Bible lessons, all while making connections with leaders and peers their own age.

We could tell you all about Financial Peace University and how we are offering the course at HCC beginning September 13. We could tell you the benefits and spend time trying to convince you to register. Instead, we want you to hear real testimonials from course graduates in our own church community.

Our next ExpGrowth Membership Seminar will be on Sunday - August 16th (Session 1) and August 23rd (session 2) at 11:45am (both weeks).
Both sessions are required to complete the seminar for membership purposes. This seminar is designed to help you know more about Hickory Creek and how we operate, as well as the things we teach and believe. Also, included in this seminar is teaching on why you can believe the Bible, and what the Bible has to say about Salvation and Baptism.

Our Reach Student Ministries Missions Team had a full, Spirit-led week serving alongside our Dominican family. 🇩🇴

Our ministry partners continue to faithfully share the Gospel and see lives transformed among both the Dominican and Haitian communities. What a joy to witness God at work and to be part of what He is doing in the DR!

Thank You, Lord, for all that You are doing in the Dominican Republic! The lives being changed, the Gospel being proclaimed, and for the privilege of serving alongside brothers and sisters from different nations who are united by the same King and the same mission.

The Hickory Creek Golf Outing at Green Garden Country Club had to be postponed last Sunday due to the course being underwater from Saturday's rain. The new date is this Sunday, August 9th. Some of those who were signed up for last Sunday are unable to make this Sunday so we have about 8 to 10 spots available for anyone who would like to join in this Sunday. This will be a 9-hole outing with a sh***un start at 3pm. Golfers should arrive by 2pm for check in.

With a 2:15 AM report time, we sent off our Youth Dominican Republic mission team! 🇩🇴

As they serve this week, we ask you to join us in praying that the Lord would go before them, protect them, and use them for His glory. May He open doors for the Gospel, strengthen our team, and draw many to Himself. May God be glorified!
