Reminder to our Capital COG, Fusion Youth, and CAP Kids families: There will be no services until further notice. Tonight, Governor Beshear ordered that all in person gatherings in churches need to cease. Unfortunately, this also includes our plans for our April 17th Fusion Night Lock In. We will postpone this for a later date as we receive more information about this virus. In the meantime, let’s stay connected to one another and pray for those who are affected by COVID-19. Please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Donna M Whortenbury or Youth Pastor Lori Amyx if you have any questions. God bless and stay safe! ❤️

Just a reminder: due to the Governors request to limit meetings of 10 or more people, we will not be having services until further notice. This includes our Thursday evening Youth Night. Stay safe everyone!!

Sunday service will go on as usual this Sunday, March 15th.

A message from Pastor Donna M Whortenbury:

Governor Beshear has suggested that places of worship cancel services until this virus is contained. We’re taking this one day at a time.
As of now, we will continue our services as usual. This Sunday, we will serve coffee and donuts at 10:15AM and worship will begin at 11:00AM. We plan to continue our Thursday Evening Youth Night with dinner being served at 6:30PM and classes beginning at 7:00PM.

We have cleaned and disinfected the church and will continue doing this before each service. If you are feeling under the weather and/or showing any respiratory symptoms, we ask that you wear a mask if you are planning to attend, to protect others in attendance as well as yourself.

We will decide about cancellations for the future as we continue to monitor this pandemic. If you do not feel at ease getting out and going to church, by all means, use your own judgment and discretion.

Please continue to be in prayer with us over this virus and all those who have been affected.

“Love Our Neighbor” clothing ministry will be open this upcoming Saturday, March 7th, from 10am-2pm!!! If you or anyone you know in our community is in need of clothing, please stop by and see us. ❤️❤️

Today until 2pm, our “Love Our Neighbors” free clothing ministry is set up at Capital Church of God to serve any in our community in need of children and adult clothing. If you are in need of clothing or know of anyone in our community, please stop by 600 Schenkel Lane, Frankfort.

Pastor Donna and some of our youth are at KYC and are participating in the Orphan Run 4 Hope Epic Adventure Run!!! All funds donated will help provide food for over 50 Orphanages in 27 Countries. All contributions are also tax-deductible. Every $20 raised feeds an Orphan Child for an entire month!
