Bridgeport Christian Church is a cornerstone in the Bridgeport Community of Frankfort, KY and has been since 1846. Everyone is welcome to come and join us for our worship and events. We are an open & affirming congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a Green Chalice Congregation.

Happy Green Tip Tuesday! Unused or expired medication can be misused, which could lead to accidental poisoning. It also can pollute our water and landfills. You may drop off unused or expired medication at CVS in Frankfort and in other participating CVS locations. Read the post below to find out more.

Happy Green Tip Tuesday! Our friends at Franklin County KY Solid Waste are accepting textile donations for an upcycled clothing fashion show! Bring your old, clean clothes to the front lobby of the Fiscal Court building through Friday. See the post below for more information.

Pentecost is always a special day in the church, but Pentecost 2026 was extra special at Bridgeport Christian Church! On Sunday, we installed Betty Whittaker and Marcheta Sparrow as Deacons; recognized Bill Whittaker as Elder Emeritus; and ordained Diane Dominick and Ted Sloan as Elders! We are so grateful for each and every one who serves God, leads us, and cares so deeply for us. We hold them all in prayer as they begin their journeys.
