Frankfort Baptist Mission in Frankfort, Ohio was started in 1967. Aline Briggs were the driving force, along with the area missionary, Robert Hall. The mission was under the sponsorship of Immanuel Baptist Church, Washington Courthouse, Ohio but disbanded after two years. William Dean was the Mission pastor at that time. In 1971, Sabina Baptist Church, Ohio came to Frankfort wanting to start a mis
sion. Home Fellowships were started under the leadership of Nelson Provost and Bill Crouch. Sunday services were started later that year with Rev. He stayed until the summer of 1975 when his work took him to another state. Under his leadership, two lots were purchased and Chillicothe Baptist Church of Chillicothe, Ohio assumed sponsorship. Paul McGuire became the mission pastor staying until 1980. The two lots were paid off and a note burning service was held on May 22, 1977. Constitution Services were held on July 30, 1978, with 31 charter members. Groundbreaking services were held on March 25, 1979.
