Hey yall! Happy Fathers Day!

We’ve heard there have been some close calls recently. 🛟 This is a friendly reminder that Ama to Knights bridge is a whitewater section. 🌊 Experience on moving water is a must before attempting this section. 🛶 As always, we want everyone to be safe.

Wear your life jacket, it’s what the cool kids - and even the most experienced paddlers - do.

Enjoy this beautiful day!

Pic so this shows up. Thanks JLaw for the hospitality and fun!

Give it a listen!

Today I am proud to announce the release of my new record “Influence.” In a twist of technology it appears that the music has been added to my father Arthur III’s music pages on the internet.
But how fitting. The man who gave me the gift of music. My father, my biggest Influence. Where would my life be without this gift given so freely.

I contacted the technology folks to get things changed, but In all reality it’s impossible to separate myself from my father when it comes to my musical journey.

I am eternally grateful to him for his love, care, and support. This project is undeniably a product of his influence. As he continues his fight with cancer I hope you will send up a prayer for him. A man who accomplished everything anyone could ever hope for in a life lived fully. A Hall of Famer in both music and horses.

When and I started discussing doing some recording last winter the nexus morphed into a mission. Record songs that have been unequivocally influential in the music I create by the writers who have meant so much to me.

I have been singing some of these songs since I was a teenager. Gordon Lightfoot, Townes Van Zandt, Robert Earl Keen, Norman Blake, Andrew Marlin, and of course my father Arthur III

It all wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of many friends who came on board to cover the myriad of costs associated with making a recording like “Influence”. To those folks I am again, so Grateful

Thank you to .burleson.31 for playing

Harry Cory and I worked together as Producers. captured the tones. It was really a magical experience laying these tracks down live. Playing them together.

Thanks to my old homey for singing that good ole country harmony. It was a real honor to have play on a tune with us.

for the art. I am so proud of you.

It’s just so fitting to see it listed under the “wrong” Arthur Hancock, without Dad I can’t imagine where I’d be in this life. Onwards——-
