There was definitely a jubilant sound in Frankford today!

The Good Turn Daily Bluegrass Band put on another great show, blending fast-paced bluegrass music with the deep message of timeless gospel hymns. It was a beautiful afternoon of music!

Thank you to everyone who attended the concert! We will post a few videos of the band's performance tomorrow afternoon, but in the meantime here are a few snapshots from the day.

Raid your couch cushions, empty your piggy banks, it is time for the monthly Children's Coin March!

Tomorrow during worship service Frankford FCC Kids will take their pails through the aisles to collect your spare pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and even your dollar bills!

Money from tomorrow's coin march will go directly to support our Church Food Pantry, helping us feed local families right here in our community. Let’s fill the children's buckets tomorrow and show our neighbors the love of Christ in a tangible way!

Looking for some uplifting music and fellowship to kick off your weekend? Grab your family and friends and head on over to hear the Good Turn Daily Bluegrass Band!

Come clap your hands, tap your toes, and sing along to all your favorite old-time gospel classics like “I Saw The Light,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and so many more!

The free concert starts at 3! Afterwards, all are invited to join us for a light supper in the fellowship hall!

You don’t want to miss out on hearing the Good Turn Daily Bluegrass Band tomorrow in Frankford!

The band is coming back to Frankford FCC to sing more songs about God’s grace and love. They will perform in the sanctuary from 3 to 5 p.m.

After the concert, we will have a light supper in the fellowship hall!

We are excited to launch a brand-new mission project here at Frankford First Christian Church that is going to have a global reach! We are partnering with Matthew 25: Ministries in Ohio to collect empty plastic pill bottles.

In developing nations, access to a simple medicine bottle is a luxury. Without them, doctors must distribute critical medication in scraps of paper or leaves, exposing it to dirt and moisture. Your recycled bottles will carry life-saving medicine to clinics in Ukraine, Haiti, Nicaragua, Armenia, and many other nations across the globe.

Here's How You Can Help:
1. Collect your empty prescription and over-the-counter bottles.
2. Peel off all personal labels and sticky residue. Wash and dry both the bottles and lids completely.
3. Drop them into our new collection box in the back of the sanctuary!

It's that easy! We hope you'll join us by saving and donating your bottles to help make a difference around the world!

In less than a month, Week of Compassion has put love into action across the globe! 🌎

From providing critical emergency relief to families in Afghanistan, to supporting long-term sustainable livelihoods in Botswana, to helping with the long-term clean up of a recent 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the Philippines to here in Missouri where Week of Compassion helped communities recover from straight-line winds that damaged their homes, their rapid response is changing lives every single day. ❤️

At Frankford First Christian Church, we are so incredibly proud to partner with and support a ministry that moves so quickly to heal a hurting world. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ, both near and far!

Come relive those memories and sing along as we host the Good Turn Daily Bluegrass Band at Frankford First Christian Church this Saturday!

They will be filling our sanctuary with the comforting, soulful sounds of classic gospel music and traditional bluegrass harmonies.
