Welcome to our VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION! (PART 5)✨

This week we want to show our gratitude for the amazing Bob!

Bob serves in our Kid’s Ministry because he’s always had a special way of connecting with kids & loves watching them grow in their faith in Jesus! One of his favorite parts of serving is building relationships with people!

One of his first memories of serving at Emmanuel was standing by the road and waving to people as they drove by. He loved seeing people’s reactions and how something as simple as a smile and a wave could brighten someone’s day. 👋

Thank you, Bob, for investing in the next generation and for faithfully serving with such a kind heart! 💛

Welcome to our VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION! (PART 4) ✨

This week we want to show our gratitude for the lovely Lauri! 🏝️

Lauri serves as a greeter, event planner, and small group leader! She loves people and is as extroverted as it gets! She knows that God has placed her here to serve this community & she loves that these opportunities allow her to get to know everyone so well.

One of her favorite memories is from when Emmanuel was just beginning and the church met in a small coffee shop environment. It was so exciting to watch the group grow! She has also absolutely loved getting to love on the young families of Emmanuel and watch them grow over the years.

To anyone thinking about serving at Emmanuel, her advice is simple: “Jump in! Many hands make the work so light and joyful.”

Meredith serves on our Greeting + Hospitality teams. She loves meeting new people, connecting with the congregation, and being part of the fellowship that makes Emmanuel feel like family. She also appreciates the encouragement that comes through Pastor Angel’s messages each Sunday.

Some of Meredith’s favorite memories include the Friends + Family Sunday, and celebrating Easter together as a church family!
