Hope Community Church Frankenmuth

Hope Community Church Frankenmuth Our Community gathers for Worship on Sunday's at 9:30 am

We believe that picturing the church Jesus had in mind includes following the pattern of the early church found in Acts 2:42, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship/sharing, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Two verses from Romans 15 describe our Hope heartbeat and why we chose to include “Hope” in our name: verse 4, "For everything that was written in the past

was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope…"; and verse 13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (NIV)
The ultimate purpose of our Hope Community is to bring glory to our Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)—by knowing, loving and worshipping Him as He has revealed Himself to us through His Word. We believe that bringing glory to God will include picturing, as we gather in community, what our Triune God had in mind for “church” and that people will be drawn to Triune God through what they see, hear and experience when they gather with communities of His people for Worship (and also when they are are with His people individually). We believe that picturing the church Jesus had in mind includes following the pattern of the early church found in Acts 2:42, Luke tells us, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship (the Greek word is koinonia, which literally means sharing), to the breaking of bread and to prayer." For the above reasons, when we gather for Worship, we include time for people in our community to share stories from their walk with God and prayers for each other and we celebrate Communion weekly and share a teaching from God's Word. We believe that God releases His power through His Word, His Spirit, and His People, loving Him and each other; and also that no one is beyond the possibility and hope of God’s power to change.

What happened to the Nephalim? Why is this passage in the Bible & what does it have to do with us today?
