The Plymouth Church in Framingham

The Plymouth Church in Framingham Worship on Sunday mornings at 10 AM, with classes for children (through 6th grade) at the same time. We believe in an open table.

First gathered together in 1701, we stand as a community dedicated to proclaiming the good news of God’s love for the world. In 1957, the members of the Plymouth Church voted to join the United Church of Christ (UCC). The Gospel of Jesus Christ is at the center of our common life. Through worship and the study of scripture, through prayer and song we enter into and nurture our relationship with th

e divine presence of a Living God. When we celebrate Communion, all people—and we do mean all—are invited and welcome. This idea extends to all aspects of our community of faith. We recognize the historical creeds of the universal church; at the same time, we do not require members to subscribe to any tests of faith. We believe that all God’s children are free to follow Christ in their own way. Since truth and justice are not easily deciphered in solitude we gather in community to support one another and encourage each other along the journey.
