A post by Ellie Kell: For some reason today I woke up thinking of dogs we have had. I remember Nelix, a mutt that somebody left with us. He was a lovable dog who barked a lot. We had another dog, Charlie. He was a good dog but he and Nelix never go along. And it became worse when Melissa moved in because Charlie was possessive of the girls and did it ie Neiix getting near them. It got so we were afraid that with the dogs going at each other one of the girls could get bitten so we surrendered Nelix to a rescue shelter. I hope Nelix got a good home. He really needed to be an only dog. Why I am thinking of a dog we had over 10 years ago I have no idea. I really feel I failed Nelix.
