A wonderful service of remembrance and closure for the good and faithful work in ministry the people of Vukku have done in past years. The ministry of Vukku continues on in a different form and season, but its impact on the world continues.

For those planning on attending the Service of Holy Closure on Sunday, May 18: If your planned route is via 210 to County Road 19 past Foxhome, please be aware that 19 is under construction and there are Road Closed signs. The road is drivable and open to local traffic. You may need to drive slower than normal, so please plan accordingly. Hope to see you there!

Vukku has a new tenant! Not sure if she is day to day, week to week, or month to month, as I haven't seen the lease. Hope she paid someone a damage deposit as she doesn't appear to be a very neat housekeeper. Wonder if she will be evicted before Holy Closure?

We need your help! As mentioned on a previous post, we would like to compile and print a very nice booklet commemorating the ministry in the life of Vukku Church for our Holy Closure service on May 18. However, we currently lack sufficient photos to make it meaningful and without your submissions we will be unable to complete this project. Any and all past and present members are asked to comb their photo stash and submit by: Dropping them off at either Foxhome or Vukku (please put in an envelope with your name); submit them electronically to Pastor Julie Carlson by text (320-491-2304) or email ([email protected]); or by mailing to Vukku Lutheran Church, PO Box 69, Foxhome, MN 56543 (please provide name and return address). We need to receive photos no later than March 31. If you have photos of various celebrations, chicken suppers, pancake breakfasts, Sunday School, Bible School, etc., we are particularly interested in those events.
