We also believe that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. We are here to find the lost souls and guide them to the Father. Statement of Faith
We are an nondenominational Christian ministry. Below is a summary of beliefs upon which, The Highway Ministries, is based and founded upon.

1. We believe that all 66 books of the Bible are the only inspired word of God called scripture. We d

o not acknowledge the Apocrypha, Psuedopigrapha, Gnostic Gospels, Book of Mormon, or anything of the like to be inspired scripture (Tim. 3:16). We do appreciate various translations of the Bible such as the New King James, English Standard Version, Holman Christian Standard, American Standard, New International Version, etc.
2. We believe that God is one, but reveals Himself thorough the persons of the Trinity as The Father, The Son as Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we believe that each person of this Trinity is God (1 Cor. 8:6 6:44; Rom. 1:7; Isa. 9:6; Jn. 1:1 Acts 5:3; Heb 9:14; Jn. 4:24).

3. We believe that God is the creator of all things, is all-powerful, all-knowing, and in control to do as He wills (Acts 14:15; Jer. 32:17; Eph. 3:20; Psa.139:1-4; 1 Sam.2:6-9; Psa. 24:1).

4. We believe that Jesus was literally conceived and born of a virgin named Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-33).

5. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life (1 Pet. 2:22; 1 Jn. 3:5).

6. We believe that all of humanity has fallen short of God's glory and is in need of salvation; hence the reason Jesus came to the earth (Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23; Rom. 5:8; Jn. 14:6). "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." We believe that those who die without salvation go to a literal place called Hell (Psa. 9:17; Psa.73:12-19; Luke 16:23.26; Jn. 12:48).

8. We believe that salvation is in none other than through the name, person, resurrection, work, and grace of Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6; Jn. 3:16; Jn. 10:17-18; Rom. 1:4; Rom.5:8).

9. We believe that those who belong to Christ will inherit eternal life in a literal Kingdom of Heaven (Isaiah 65; Zech. 14).

10. We believe that Jesus will return to gather His people, as well as the resurrection of the dead in Christ at His return (1 Cor. 15:21-23).

11. We believe in the water baptism of believers in Christ (Mat. 28:19; Acts 2:38-41).

12. We believe in the observance of communion (the bread and the cup) as a means to remember our Lord (1 Cor. 11:24).

13. We believe that Christ is the Head of the church, which should be governed by Him (Eph.5:23).

14. We believe that all of Christ's ministers are servant-leaders, not dictators (Jn. 13:3-16; Ph.2:3-8).

INSPIRATION

What is your prayer life like? Has it grown stagnant? When we read this verse, we are reminded that how we pray matters. We should pray diligently constantly making our hearts and requests known to God. When we ask, we shall receive. We should not just say the prayer and be finished, we should look for what God may be using to answer our prayers. When we seek, we shall find. Finally, after praying and seeking, we must continue seeking God without giving up. God will open the door.

Todays Prayer

Dear God, there have been times when I have not called out to You when I should. Sometimes it feels so hard to wait and be patient, but I know I can trust Your promises. You hear my prayers and You know what I need. I will continue to seek You to receive Your answer. You know what I need and when I need it. O Lord, lead me in the direction you want me to go so that I may find You. In Jesus' name, amen.

INSPIRATION

Spiritual warfare is real. There are dark powers at work. Darkness, sin, and death are real. However, when Jesus Christ triumphed on the cross, he took away their power. His death and resurrection are victorious over the powers of sin and darkness. We can live freely knowing the grave could not hold our Savior and we will have eternal life when we place our faith in Him.

Todays Prayer

Dear God, we know there is evil in the world, but we know You have conquered it. Hallelujah! We praise Your holy name, O Lord. You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Sin has no power over You. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus Christ, to be our savior. He defeated death and darkness so that we may live free of the bo***ge of sin. Help me to live my life in celebration of this victory and freedom. In Jesus' name, amen.

INSPIRATION

When we hear about the heroes of the Old Testament, we often hear about the ways God empowered them to fight battles and bring him glory. But, we should also take note of the times they recognized God's holiness and glorified his Holy name. For instance, David wrote psalms that frequently celebrate God's goodness. They not only sought God and showed reverence, the psalms show how believers of long ago also rejoiced because of all he had and would do. When is the last time you worshipped God with rejoicing?

Todays Prayer

Dear God, You are deserving of all glory, honor, and praise. May my heart always be filled with thanksgiving. You are worthy of all my praise. You are holy, O Lord. Help me to praise you freely and honestly like the psalmists. I rejoice in Your holiness knowing You are the same yesterday, today, and always. You are the Alpha and the Omega. May I live a life that showcases my trust in You and my love for You. Use my glad heart to draw others to You. In Jesus' name, amen.
