❤️ Church Family Helping Church Family ❤️

What a blessing it is to see the church being the church! 🙌 Last weekend a few members of our church family came together to lend a helping hand with a little yard cleanup. 🌿🧤

Sometimes serving the Lord looks like rakes, gloves, yard tools, hard work, and willing hearts. We’re thankful for those who saw a need and simply stepped in to help. ❤️

KCR AWANA starts back in just a little over TWO weeks, on WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 9TH!!

We hope you join us in our 18th year of AWANA CLUB.

KCR AWANA CLUB offers classes for youths from Nursery through 12th grade!

We meet on Wednesday nights in the Family Life Center and each week includes a meal, followed by rotation of handbook time, large group time and game time.

Our meal begins at 5:30pm, Club starts at 6:30pm and we finish at 8pm.

We encourage adults to join us for the meal and attend service over in the Sanctuary, 7pm - 8pm.

The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse II Timothy 2:15: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

AWANA Club promotes Lifelong Faith, Leader-Child Relationships, Bible Engagement and Spiritual Development with appropriately aged materials.

We welcome church and community, so invite a friend. No pre-registration required - adults can complete registration for each clubber upon arrival on the first night!

The OFWB Christian Education Ministry held its annual Christian Education Banquet last night at LaGrange First FWB Church. It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, featuring a delicious dinner and an inspiring message and chalk art presentation by Rick Overman.

This annual event, formerly known for recognizing Sunday School Teachers and Sunday School Superintendents, continues to celebrate the importance of Christian education and those who faithfully serve in teaching and leadership.

There were 6 total nominees and 2 winners:

Of the 6, Kings Cross Roads had 2 Sunday School Teachers nominated this year:

Mrs. Ann Copeland and Mrs. Heather Fisher

And we are excited to announce Heather Fisher was awarded a 2026 OFWB Discipleship Award!

We have awesome Sunday School teachers and thank each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication. Each of them commit to learning and teaching The Gospel from The Holy Bible.
