This past Sunday, for our RELATION/SHIP series, Pastor Pierre led a sermon about how we view ourselves.

Many of us live with a double standard: we are quick to extend grace, patience, and forgiveness to others, yet turn around and punish ourselves with harsh inner dialogue (“I’m so mad at myself,” “I’m so frustrated,” “I can’t forgive myself”).

Last Sunday, we had a panel discussion with Jy Tristian Wright and Carlos Aguilar about the relationship with their earthly fathers, and how that affects the relationship with our Heavenly Father.

It was an insightful conversation and opportunity for some of our community to be vulnerable and share a real story about their experience.
