This past week in Shoreline Kids, we learned about the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20) and tried keeping them all afloat (literally)! Spoiler alert: It was impossible. But that’s why we’re so grateful for Jesus—He helps us and forgives us when we fall short. 🙌❤️
✨ Join us tomorrow as our preschoolers learn about how God is always with us, and our elementary kids discover how God dwells with His people and uses our creativity!

Children’s Ministry

Our only purpose for Kid’s Worship is discipleship. Our goal for Kid’s Worship is for children to come to a full understanding of the gospel message. The kids sing worship songs that communicate deep theological truths in simple ways. They learn the Bible in a way that is easy for them to understand at their level of development. As soon as kids are old enough to understand the message, we encourage parents to bring them into the service with them. Of course, that may differ with each child and so we offer Kid’s Worship up to 5th grade. Some parents prefer for their children to join them in the service throughout their childhood, and we fully support that decision as well. As a congregation we welcome all children in our Worship Service, regardless of age.

What we offer

Sunday Morning Life Group - Sunday at 9:00 AM Available for children grades 1st-5th // Room B-105 Led by a team of loving and enthusiastic teachers, children are immersed in thematic studies of the Bible. We use songs, games, crafts and skits to engage the children in studying the Word of God and to make the Bible come to life. Recent studies have included: The life of Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Parables.

Sunday Morning Worship - Sunday at 10:30 AM Available for children grades 1st-5th // Room B-105 Kid's Church provides a place for children to study the Bible with age-appropriate lessons and activities while their parents attend the main Shoreline Worship Service. We study through individual books of the Bible systematically with the "Explore the Bible" curriculum. Children are engaged with introductory activities, Bible study skills, discussion and small group time. Our teachers and small group leaders are passionate about seeing children grow to know and love Jesus!
